India's Lost Glory

Hello Friends,

The time has come to make India regain its lost glory. We can do that by our support to some of the great rising people of India like Arvind Kejriwal, Swami Ramdev, and Anna Hazare, Who are sacrificing the luxuries of their life to save India.

The first step we all can take is to boycott foreign goods and start consuming Indian goods, produced by Swami Ramdev's Patanjli, Which are proved to be of highest quality being provided to consumers at lowest price by any manufacture in the world, stated by some great International organization.

The second step we can opt is to start supporting Aam Aadmi Party by Arvind Kejriwal and by voting the AAP party.

I hope we all understand the critical times of India and save our country by initiating the above two steps.

Nuclear Warfare in Ancient India

Hey!

This short documentary gives rise to controversies among all the archaeologists about the faith in numerous physical proofs of the two greatest epics of Ancient India i.e. Ramayana and Mahabharata. This short documentary gives you a broader view of my first post about Ancient India.

The whole world now believes those times when India was world power with more advance technologies than today and also that the Hindu gods had taken birth on the holy land of India, whenever India faces hard times. The world believes in the power of the three almighty powers i.e. Vishnu, Brahma and Shiva, who created the whole Universe.

To sum up, here's an excerpt from a beautiful poem by Ruth Peel:
"The source of all movement,
Shiva's dance,
Gives rhythm to the universe.
He dances in evil places,
In sacred,
He creates and preserves,
Destroys and releases.
We are part of this dance
This eternal rhythm,
And woe to us if, blinded
By illusions,
We detach ourselves
From the dancing cosmos,
This universal harmony…"

Hope all my readers love to explore about India. Friends, to improve my articles, I need your suggestion from time to time with the help of your important reviews and also if anyone would like to share something about India on this blog, than you can mail me at sagar92capricorn@gmail.com.

Proud To Be An Indian

Hey! Friends, Today I was wondering why we kept on learning the names of foreign scientists all the time, though Indian scientists are also there but too less. All the time we are taught that Newton discovered this; wright brother discovered that whereas we are being told about our great ancestors since our childhood by our parents.

So where are all those great people??

Let me start from our great wright brother, you know in our history who done this great innovation of flying plane, "The Shivkar Bapuji Talpade" (1864-1916).Let me correct myself, actually he didn't invented a flying plane but he invented an 'Unmanned Airplane'.
Shivkar Bapuji Talpade
The Shivkar Bapuji Talpade

It happened back in 1895 when he constructed and flew India's first unmanned airplane to a height of 1500 feet in front of 5000 people in Baroda. So you might have the question that why didn't India claim its supremacy over wright brothers. I didn't have the proofs but 'Late Mr. Rajeev Dixit' a social worker told the people that a British company cleverly betrayed him by signing some type of contract for his design, which somehow reached wright brothers. It’s a kind of hilarious thing that after 8 years wright brothers come up with flying plane in 1903 and credited as aviation pioneers.

Sometimes I wonder why our ancestors were not so clever. Why we didn't conquer any country? Then my father says one thing, 'Our ancestors were not taught to cheat, to hurt people, instead we Indians are taught to love our brothers and sisters, respect our elders and live in peace and harmony'.

But I believe those who dominate India might not have any culture, tradition or a moral value, that is why they destroyed the world's first and best universities of India i.e., Nalanda University and Takshila University. The universities which were established in 4th century and 700 B.C respectively, when the world didn't even know how to cultivate crops, at those times over 10,500 students from the whole world travel to India to learn something or to explore more than 100 subjects. This was one of the greatest achievement in the field of education in Ancient India. The library of these universities had such a big collection of books that when Britishers burned them, the fire goes on for nearly six months.

I am lucky, that i am born Indian. Actually we Indians had ruled in every field, like that of surgery.

The Suśruta (सुश्रुत) in 1500 B.C known as the 'The Father of Surgery', who was one of the principal contributors to the ancient art and science of Ayurveda, a system of medicine and lifestyle developed in India. Sushruta's collected writings (modified over the ages by various authors) are known today as Suśruta Sahitā, which describes over 300 surgical procedures, 120 surgical instruments, and eight categories of human surgery.
He and his team conducted complicated surgeries like cataract, artificial limbs, cesareans, fractures, urinary stones, plastic surgeries and even brain surgeries.

Gosh, no one is there to beat us in Mathematics too.

The Shridharacharya (c. 870 India-c. 930 India) was an India mathematician born in Hoogly district in 10 century A.D. His major work discusses counting of numbers, measures, natural number, multiplication, division, zero, squares, cubes, fraction, rule of three, interest-calculation, joint business or partnership and mensuration. Of all the Hindu Acharyas the exposition of Sridharacharya on zero is the most explicit. He has written, "If 0(zero) is added to any number, the sum is the same number; If 0(zero) is subtracted from any number, the number remains unchanged; If 0(zero) is multiplied by any number, the product is 0(zero)". He has said nothing about division of any number by 0(zero). In the case of dividing a fraction he has found out the method of multiplying the fraction by the reciprocal of the divisor. He wrote on practical applications of algebra separated algebra from arithmetic. He was one of the first to give a formula for solving quadratic equations

Do you Know, the largest number Greeks and Romans used were 10Whereas Hindus used number as big as 1053 with specific names as early as 5000 B.C during Vedic Period. The work done in mathematics in Ancient India was outstanding. The value of 'pi' was first calculated by the Indian Mathematician Budhacharya  in 6th Century, long before Europeans and he explained the concept of Pythagoras theorem, as I said in my first post that Pythagoras came to India to learn geometry.

Friends long before when people didn't even imagined about the calculators, the great Indian Astronomer and Mathematician "The Bhaskaracharya", who was known as the greatest mathematician of medieval India rightly calculated the time taken by earth to orbit sun i.e 365.258756484 days. His work on calculus predates Newton and Leibniz by half a millennium. He is particularly known in the discovery of the principles of differential calculus and its problems to astronomical problems and computations.

Can we imagine airplanes or ships without navigation systems? The art of navigation was born 6000 years ago in river Sindh, India. The word 'Navigation' was derived from Sanskrit word 'Navigatih'. Navy is also Sanskrit word 'Nou'.

The person who says India is backward must know that the chess was invented by India. Detailed knowledge of anatomy, embryology, digestion metabolism, physiology, etiology, usage of anesthesia  genetics, and immunity are also found in many ancient Indian texts.

According to the Gemological Institute of America, up until 1896 India was the only source of diamonds to the world.

After Being Ruled By British Rulers For More Than 200 Years, We Lost Our Real Culture, Education System, Many Traditions
And The Most Important
'To Be Proud To Be An Indian'.

Ancient India

India, the name is derived from river Indus  the valleys around which were the home of early settlers. Though our country is having an historical nick name "The Golden Bird". But some how i found "The Golden Lion" much more appropriate due to the fact that in today's world, we need to be strong and powerful like a lion, although a bird symbolizes freedom of thought and freedom to live but with that we need strength to survive in this modern world .

India, the place where discoveries took place. India left the archaeologist awestruck after the recent historical findings about Ancient India.

The archaeological  page i recently encountered reveals in bulk about the findings going in all over the world about India.

It seems unbelievable that India was once a nuclear power when the whole world was underprivileged, illiterate. As said by

Lin Yutang, Chinese scholar and author, wrote that: "India was China's teacher in trigonometry, quadratic equations, grammar, phonetics... " and so forth.

We all have read the Pythagoras theorem but what would you like to say when you will came to know that Pythagoras was not the original discoverer.

Voltaire, the famous French writer and philosopher) stated that "Pythagoras went to the Ganges to learn geometry." Abraham Seidenberg, author of the authoritative "History of Mathematics," credits the Sulba Sutras as inspiring all mathematics of the ancient world from Babylonia to Egypt to Greece.

I would like to suggest my readers to go through the website for an insight depth about the importance of Vedas and the technology India once had in Ancient times.
